Wrong Room
Everyone acts reasonably; the room falls apart anyway.
Wrong Room is an ensemble comedy-thriller built on my favourite engine: a group of people each doing the sensible thing from where they're standing, adding up to a disaster none of them chose.
It's the most overtly cinematic thing I've written — built to be cast, shot, and let loose. Moral ambiguity played for tension and laughs in equal measure.
A door opens. The wrong person is on the other side. Everyone decides, separately, to lie about it.
